Holly Shaltz, Fiberist
PO Box 136
Boyne City MI
49712 USA

This page will list groups that serve fiberists throughout the northern half of the lower peninsula (north of Bay City), and the eastern half of the upper peninsula (east of Manistique), of Michigan. When I have more than a few listings, I'll arrange them geographically, from the UP down.

The information I would like for each group listed includes:

  • Name of group
  • Area served
  • Primary and secondary focuses (ie, spinning, knitting, weaving, all fiber, etc)
  • Contact person's name
  • Phone, email, and snail mail addresses for the contact person
  • Usual meeting day (for example, 3rd Monday of each month) and time
  • Usual meeting place (members' homes, church basement, library community room, etc)
  • Dues, if any, and guest policy if you have dues
  • Any other description you feel will entice new members to your group :) I reserve the right to edit for space.

Please be sure to get change information to me as soon as possible! (Don't make me have to hunt you down :)
